Over the years, I have crossed paths with many clients who have been unable to realize that making lasting changes in life is not a lost cause or a hopeless case.

It doesn't matter if they come from a place of wealth or poverty. Their lives are chaotic, and their day-to-day is filled with distress, behaviors, and conditions that keep them stuck enduring things they don't want to be experiencing. They have quick answers and stories for why their life is the way it is, and they cling to the very things that they don’t want in life. We need to ask ourselves, why?

People from all walks of life and education levels insist that more information, data, more self-help books, more doom scrolling on social media, or any new bright shiny object will solve their problems. Or maybe they think a new job, new location, new partner, new vacation, or credentials next to their name will help. These things won’t and can’t solve their problems.

Their perceptions and belief in themselves got damaged a long time ago, and all the education, money, and material possessions won’t change their life. These things simply add an expensive layer or distraction on top of a rotting foundation that is rooted deep within.

Somewhere, somehow, they lost themselves along the way. A raw sense of loneliness, hopelessness, and despair haunts them due to the hidden stories they carry around with them for a long time, maybe even years. They try to distract themselves from what's really happening, yet a hollowness remains.

When these ‘lost causes and hopeless cases’ put in the work and rediscover themselves, they reclaim their authentic voice, authentic self, self-esteem, and self-trust. This is where real transformation and healing happens. Their partners, family, and friends are amazed and see that they have changed, but they cannot understand or explain it. They become a new 2.0 version of themselves, better than ever.

This is the transformation that is achieved through the Art as a Medium to Heal Program. There are no such things as lost or hopeless cases. There are only people who won’t put in the investment and heavy work to transform their personal and professional lives.

Many people want results fast with little or no commitment required, as it’s basic human nature to want quick fixes. There is a big tendency to do the same things over and over, expecting different results. Yet, playing the same story on a never-ending repeat loop will never produce these supposed desired results.

It's like wanting to have a great physique, but not wanting to exercise, stay sedentary, and eat junk food all day long. There is no right or wrong here, but it is a choice.

This same concept can be applied to any area of your life and health. If you want results, you need to change your ways and accept some input from a person you trust.

I have guided lots of clients to transformation over the years, and have found that until the sacred bond of trust is established, change is unlikely to occur and resistance prevails. This trust bond is where two people join together for a common purpose and goal, and the impossible becomes possible. Physical and mental health is restored, and the uncomfortable emotions associated with change are worked through to reach your goals.
